Level 2+ Building Survey – Worcester

Our Level 2+ Building Survey is our most popular survey, an estimated 70% of clients prefer this option.

It sits between a RICS Home Survey – Level 2 and a RICS Home Survey – Level 3 (a full building survey) and is suitable for properties of all ages, although it is particularly relevant for older buildings or ones with complex requirements.

The purpose of a building survey is to investigate a property and report on its condition, highlighting any major concerns in order to minimise risk and provide peace of mind.

Our Level 2+ Building Survey is a bespoke report that highlights and provides insight into major defects, as well as potential maintenance issues, remedies, associated timescales, and an estimated budget for repairs.

It comments on the main structural elements of a property, but excludes cosmetic items such as sanitary and kitchen fittings. Because it is bespoke to the property, we can also include advice relating to potential extensions or alterations if required.

The high standard of service and advice that we provide can help you reduce risk and protect your investment in a residential property in Worcester.

This type of report is suitable for all ages of property and is our most popular survey with an estimated 70% of our clients preferring this option.

What our clients say

Went to Easton Bevin for a residential building survey, and they were quick, professional and the report is thorough! I was welcomed to ask questions about the survey once I had received it back and the person I spoke to was professional and explained everything really clearly to me. Highly recommend them!

Really good service, the survey uncovered some structural issues that could have cost me a fortune to repair had I followed through with the purchase.

I recently reached out to them when buying my first home. I initially felt very much out of my depth however they offered lots of advice and support. Nothing was ever to much trouble and made me feel very at ease.

How much does a Level 2+ Building Survey cost?

The costs of a Level 2+ Building Survey will depend on a number of factors, and we quote each property on its own merits after viewing it online.

We do not generally consider the sale price, rather the complexity of the building and the estimated time needed to thoroughly inspect the property, consider any defects and issue a report.

Although we cannot guarantee a reduction in sale price, most of our clients use the findings of our report in negotiations with the vendor. You may find that the reduction in the price of the property more than covers the cost of the survey. Even if the vendors are unwilling to adjust their price, you can make a more informed decision about your purchase.
