Cladding remediation to high-rise residential apartment block

In Brief:

Easton Bevins were appointed as project managers for the remediation of combustible cladding and insulation to a high-rise apartment block. Having reviewed the initial report produced by others, our surveying department highlighted areas of the proposal that they considered excessive. As project managers, we liaised with the client and recommended a fire engineer was appointed to review the recommendations. Working alongside the engineers, we were able to reduce the scope of the work which provided a saving to the client without affecting the safety of the building.

We continue to manage the construction work on behalf of the client and are pleased with the progress of the site to date. Following completion of the works, we will obtain the necessary completion certificates and health and safety file and ensure all quality assurance documents are in place and accessible to the client.
